Who has seen the first Sex and the City? Well if you haven't you might be mildly lost in these next few minutes. Remember when Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) was asked by Vogue to do a photo-shoot in the magazine about a style icon AND a bride in her forties. Naturally Carrie agrees to do it, wearing different designer wedding gowns, including a Vivienne Westwood. And then, (this is the whole point of this post) Vivienne Westwood herself sends the wedding dress to Carrie with a note saying she saw the pictures and that Carrie deserved the dress.
